MEMOstoRY

Description

Working for children is an exciting experience. People can learn a lot from them and have fun at the same time. The goal of MEMOstoRY is to teach the meaning of "sequence". This project was created for the primary school “Arcobaleno di Lodi”. This school is focused on children who have some cognitive difficulties. Our product is used by teachers so that they can guide these children to understand the cognitive meaning and make the learning process easier.
MEMOstoRY is a game based on storytelling. The kit provides:
  • three stories: Hansel and Gretel, Peter and the Magic Beans, Red Cape
  • the connecting tags (five tags for each story)
  • the narrative books
  • the instructions sheet

This game uses RFID technology, allready installed on the computers of the school.
The game has the following steps:
  1. The user has to login and choose one story.
  2. The system shows the story chosen with a cartoon video
  3. The player has five items called “tags”. The characters of the game are depicted on the tags. The player has to organize this tags with the correct sequence used in the story.
  4. When the tags are in the correct order the player wins!
